Art Center of Rochester provides art related services and experiences for people of all ages. At our Titus Ave location, we offer workshops, homeschool art programs, after school art classes for children and adults, birthday parties, private events, camps, Kids Night Out, and figure drawing. In our gallery, we feature local artists on a rotating schedule, and host art openings, open to the public.
Our off-site services include painting interior and exterior murals, professional development/team building workshops, face painting, artist retreats, and chalk art murals.
We care about our community and strive to inspire art for everyone!
Young makers are invited to Art Center to sew their very own patchwork elephant plushie! Participants will be introduced to sewing machine basics, and leave with a one-of-a kind creation! No experience is necessary. Space is limited, so be sure to register soon.

Sara Heslop grew up in love with animals and the forest, chasing feral kittens, feeding baby birds, catching snakes and frogs. She has dedicated her life to caring for animals. Now Sara spends her time away from working as a vet and mom, capturing the natural world in paint and printmaking. Her work is a testament to the idea that the whole world is full of beauty and wonder. By capturing the delights of the natural world, in an elegant, yet whimsical style, Sara hopes to share her delightful perspective with you.

Welcome to our very own winter wonderland, inspired by the magic of Narnia! Art Center will take inspiration from the novel The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis, and transform into a fantastic world of talking animals, mystical creatures and delightful adventures. We will craft our own stories and characters throughout the week, and dive into a world of storytelling, illustration and impossible things!
