Where: Art Center of Rochester 563 Titus Ave

When: Friday, April 25 6-9pm

Aurora Nestle is a 17-year-old mixed-media artist from Rochester, NY. She has been navigating the fleeting passage of time through her artworks over the years. Moving Forward, Looking Back represents her growth as an artist -- from the moment a young girl fell in love with the colors and shapes of paintings she saw in passing, to now, when that teenage girl's passion has only deepened. Her artwork tells a story. Each work is a fragment of Aurora’s life; a visual unveiling of the path that led to where she is now.

The artist is currently a high school senior, looking forward to attending Cornell University in the fall. This body of work marks a true turning point in the life of a young adult.
