Workshops
Grab a friend and come create with us! Art Center offers art experiences for all abilities and skill levels in a relaxed setting. Most of our workshops offer light refreshments, but you are always welcome to bring your own adult beverages!
We are working on scheduling more workshops for the beginning of this year, so stay tuned.
If you want to plan a private workshop, email us email@artcenterrochester.com All you need to do is gather five or more participants, and email us to plan/schedule your event. All workshops are priced per person, and dependent on the chosen activity.
*Most workshops are designed for ages 18+ unless otherwise noted.

Do you have a dog, cat or other loveable critter that you would love to have a painting of?
We can help make this happen in our ‘Paint Your Pet’ workshop at Art Center! No prior art experience is necessary. All you have to do is register for the event, email a picture of your critter to email@artcenterrochester.com, and show up!
Each participant will be given a 16x20” canvas, with their pet pre-drawn on it, and be guided in the painting process!
All participants must preregister.
It’s time to get out and paint! Try something new! No experience is necessary. All are invited to join Kaitlin for an evening of painting, with complimentary wine and light refreshments. Participants will be guided through expressive painting techniques, and leave with a beautiful landscape painting. This is the perfect workshop for those who want an introduction to painting or just a fun, different evening out with friends.

Have you always wanted to try figure drawing, but don’t know where to start? Do you need life drawings for your portfolio? Or maybe you want to gain a better understanding of human proportion, in order to improve your drawing skills.
This is your opportunity to work with a live, nude model, and be guided in the figure drawing process!
Kaitlin will demonstrate figure drawing techniques, as we work from short to long poses. After this workshop, you will have the confidence to attend open studio drawing sessions. All you have to do is show up! We provide the materials.
All participants must preregister.
Model fees and materials are included in the cost.
