The Recycled Art Program will explore the endless artistic possibilities of “beautiful junk,” creating wonderful works of art from pieces that we would normally toss. Bottle cap mosaics, water bottle fish wind chimes, and milk jug masks are just some of the creative projects that will transform the way we see beauty in everyday objects! Participants will also learn about conservation and sustainability efforts, and what we can do to protect the environment. This will be a week full of sculptural assemblages, gadget making, and construction! The Art Center is sure to be transformed into a sculpture garden!
