Theater Arts Program
This week long program will introduce children to basic acting skills, and have a role in a play, which will be performed at the end of the session. Everyone will participate in singing, dancing, and assist in scenery creation. It is truly an immersive theater experience! Our facility is equipped with a small stage, perfect for your child’s earliest theater experiences!
Program days run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Participants will take walking field trips to various locations within the West Irondequoit community. All participants will receive an Art Center t-shirt, and pizza lunch on the last day!
All participants are expected to bring a water bottle and snack each day, and those enrolled in full day should bring a lunch Monday-Thursday.
Art Center is following all of the health and safety protocols, provided by the CDC, to keep our community healthy. We are engaging in increased sanitation practices, and provide hand sanitizer at each work station. Space for this program is very limited. Participants must wear a mask, and will have their temperature taken upon arrival each day.
